Modify the dashboard wiring

Note that this is only required for cars that will be operated by hand.

RED MASERATI

THIS PROCEDURE APPLIES ONLY TO RED CARS! Visit Maserati - Task 13 - Pink if you have a pink Maserati.

Procedure

The dashboard of the Pink Maseratis are wired differently than that of the Red Maseratis.

  1. Locate the 6-pin connector coming out of the car in front of the right-hand door and cover the connector with black, vinyl electrical tape.
  2. Locate the 6-pin connector coming out of the dashboard and cover the connector with black, vinyl electrical tape.

Verification

  1. Compare the 6-pin connector coming out of the car in front of the right door with this photo.

  2. Compare the 6-pin connector from the back of the dashboard with this photo.

After you confirm that connectors have been covered as shown in the photo, you can continue to the next task.
